During the summer a Russian Exhibition came to the Pole in a number of snow buggies.  It was the big thrill to be run over by them.  Check out the video of just that - I'm the one in the red jacket on the right. Russian Buggy video

 

Many of the winter-overs were outside to watch the last plane take off and leave us here for nine months - no ifs, ands, or buts!  You can just barely make out the plane for its contrails off the right shoulder of Gene there. Try and imagine what it was like as that last plane disappeared from sight. Last Plane Buzz

 

Towards the back of the berms are two Arch sections that were damaged.  Hanging inside one of them is a swing.  Each time I went out the buried plane, I stopped here at the swing.   Swing Video
