The Race Around The World
is an annual event always held Christmas morning.  The theory behind the race is to go around the track, which circles the Geographic Pole, three times which totals three miles.  If you have completed the three miles you get a cool Race Around The World T-shirt.  The deal is though, that it doesn't matter at all how you get around the track.  You can run, although not too many do that, you can walk, you can ski, you can even ride.  Check it all out...
Pre race.
Here's the line-up.
Daren actually ran.
Super Dave on hand for any emergencies.
King of their particular castle.
Feathers and wheels.
The riders went in style.
Bagpipes even!
And there off!

Just for the record ...
I walked one lap,
rode for one and a half,
and then walked the last half.
